Welcome to Terrestrial Ecosystems online.
Terrestrial Ecosystems is an environmental consultancy and wildlife research company that specialises in working with terrestrial vertebrate fauna. We conduct fauna surveys, fauna assessments, fauna relocation, fauna management, and feral and pest animal control and management in Perth and across Western Australia. Terrestrial Ecosystems provides clients with high quality terrestrial fauna surveys and fauna assessments, assists with the preparation of site specific fauna management plans and procedures, and manages and undertakes fauna relocation programs for all terrestrial fauna including species of conservation significance. Terrestrial Ecosystems also conducts feral and pest animal management and control programs across Western Australia.
Terrestrial Ecosystems collaborates with industry specialists to provide flora, vegetation, SRE, and subterranean fauna survey and management programs.
Terrestrial Ecosystems is dedicated to enhancing the quality of terrestrial fauna surveys, assessments, and management by conducting research and gaining a better understanding of terrestrial fauna assemblages and ecosystems in Australia. The Directors are active researchers focused on studying the biology and ecology of vertebrate fauna in Western Australia.
Our staff frequently publish in scientific literature and present at workshops and conferences, continuously seeking new and innovative approaches to enhance industry standards. We prioritize clients who desire quality outcomes and applied, innovative, science-based solutions rather than merely looking for the cheapest products. Our clients choose us because of our reputation for utilising good science and providing effective outcomes, or when they have had poor experiences from other providers and need ‘problems’ fixed.
Our business focus can be summed up as ‘a scientific approach to provide cost-effective quality outcomes in a timely manner’. Maintaining our high standards and an ethical approach is what sets our business apart from many others.
Dr Graham Thompson and Dr Scott Thompson are the active partners.
